In the shadow of that big motherload of award shows known as the Oscars, exists a little award show that could called the Film Independent’s Spirit Awards (otherwise known as the Independent Spirit Awards). A cooler, more casual version of the Oscars, the ISA’s can usually be counted on to produce an edgier, more, er, “independent” red blue carpet, in terms of fashion choices.
