Blondes don’t necessarily have more fun, but they did dominate the front rows and red carpets this week. The leaves might be turning, but bright, sunny shades of blonde were everywhere, from Elisabeth Moss‘s ridiculously good platinum to Sienna Miller‘s beachy gold. No two blondes are made alike, but all the ones we’ve spotted in the last few days are just as swoon-worthy as the next.
We can’t ignore the brunettes, either: Between Bella Hadid‘s razor-sharp center part and Lily Collins‘s goth-inspired vibes, there just wasn’t a bad one in the bunch.
What else is there to say about Elisabeth Moss going platinum except that it’s perfect and she looks gorgeous? The icy tone is spot-on—we just hope she has plenty of deep conditioning masks at home.
After years of maintaining her closely cropped pixie, Michelle Williams has managed to grow the super short style out with aplomb. Her sharply angled bob and wispy bangs are so flattering.
Bella Hadid‘s low-key makeup look of dewy skin and major lashes is striking enough on its own, but it’s her long, dark center-parted hair that we’re really lusting after.
Now this is how you wear bronzer—Sienna Miller looks radiant, with perfectly sculpted cheekbones and a soft glow to her complexion. Also: frosted lipstick.
Lily Collins nailed the glamorous goth look with matte skin and a super dark plum lip color. A little bit of blush keeps it fresh-faced, not to mention those to-die-for brows.
Cate Blanchett is simply not human—she’s too perfect! Case in point: her strobe light skin, flushed cheeks, and perfectly groomed brows are just not of this earth.
Carey Mulligan‘s hair was divine in her first post-baby red carpet appearance. We’ve only seen her with shades of blonde previously, but this shiny, natural brown color is so pretty on her fair skin.
