There’s no rest for the wicked: even though the dust from New York Fashion Week and the Emmys has barely settled, the beautiful people of the world have jetted off to London and Milan for the next leg of the global fashion migration. And for we dedicated celebrity beauty watchers, this means a whole new set of trends has emerged—notably a return to a more natural look, with brushed-up brows, smokey eyes and loosely wavy hair. Could this be the official death knell for overdrawn Instagram eyebrows? One can only hope.
The best part about this look is how many ways there are to interpret it—and the red carpet reflected that. Check out the ten best celebrity brows (uh, we mean looks) of this week.

Official Queen of Eyebrows Cara Delevingne served a master class in brown smoky eyes at the Burberry Prorsum SS 16 show: the dark liner along her upper and lower waterlines provides dramatic definition and adds focus to soft brown shadow. Paired with groomed, but not filled in eyebrows and relaxed waves, and this look is a standout.

Naomie Harris’ oh-so-subtle cat eye, naturally shaped eyebrows and glossy nude lips are the perfect compliment to her sheer coral blush. Notice how she’s wearing it a little higher up on the apples of her cheeks than perhaps you’d usually think to apply it; this helps bring color and radiance to her entire face.

We’re just going to say it: this is the best beauty look Dakota Johnson has ever served. Her cranberry lips are just slightly overdrawn, especially over the Cupid’s bow, giving the illusion of a rounder upper lip. The bold color is balanced out with natural brows, simple mascara and brown liner. She also seems to have finally figured out how to handle her bangs—this lightly dishevelled, side-swept style is killer on her.

We bow down before Kate Moss, who is always inspiring us with her effortlessly chic beauty choices. Here’s she’s rocking blonde bedhead with some serious fall bronzer to define her already legendary cheekbones. We especially love her watermelon pink lipstick blended from the inside of the lips out in a subtle ombre—this is a look that’s really big in Korea right now, and we love that Kate is making it happen in London, too.

FKA Twigs isn’t just a rising star in the music world—she’s also a serious beauty It Girl. At the Versus SS 16 show, she rocked some seriously gorgeous twisted-out locs and beautifully shimmery pink and bronze eyeshadow. Her dramatically brushed-up (but not filled in) eyebrows helps keep the look very soft and balanced.

Alexa Chung ditched her signature cat eye for a softer, sexier copper smoky eye. Note the entirely natural eyebrows—we think it’s safe to say that the over-defined look is officially dead.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that nobody in the world is as perfect as Karen Elson, and this is proof. Who else could match their clay-pink eyeshadow to their lipstick and have it work this well?

Kun Ling’s elegantly sideswept hair is giving us the best kind of ’90s throwback vibes. Along with those amazing straight eyebrows and flawless skin strobed to high heaven, this is exactly what we want to be wearing all fall. Bonus points for mascara applied to the outer corners of the lower lashes only; this really opens the eye without looking too Twiggy.

Speaking of sideswept hair, Anne Hathaway rocked a surprisingly edgy look at the premiere of The Intern. We love this flipped-over, wavy style on her—and we especially love that she paired it with purple and grey smoky eyes.

Finally, Sienna Miller served dewy skin realness at the premiere of her new film, High Rise. The sleek bun, full eyebrows and minimal eye makeup keeps the focus on her amazing red matte lipstick. Something else that we love? That she’s letting the freckles on the bridge of her nose out to play. So gorgeous.
