On the final stop of her 25 tour, Adele performed a moving rendition of “Make You Feel My Love” as a tribute to the victims of Monday’s terror attacks in Brussels, Belgium.
“When I woke up and heard the terrible news about Brussels, I felt a bit bad and sad about the fact that I was going to be doing the show,” she said to the crowd at London’s O2 Arena. “But I’m really glad we are all here, and we are all going to make enough noise so they can hear us from here.” She added, “We’re all here for the same reason. I’m hoping you will be entertained by me, I’m here to entertain you, so we’re all united, so that makes us much better than them fuckers. You’re on your own, you fucking loners.”
The singer then launched into a gorgeous version of the Bob Dylan classic she reinterpreted on her first album, 2008’s 19. Watch the video below.
