The Best (and Worst!) Dressed Stars at the Critics’ Choice Awards: Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway, More

Posted by , on January 11, 2013 at 10:08 am

Jennifer Lawrence stepped up her game from Wednesday's People's Choice Awards in a Prabal Gurung gown with Jimmy Choo shoes.

After a few fashion fails as of late, Anne Hathaway was stunning in a floor-length Oscar de la Renta gown.

Jessica Chastain played it too safe, and was a red carpet flop in Prada.

Nina Dobrev stunned in teal Monique Lhuillier.

Naomi Watts dominated the red carpet in this plunging Pucci number.

Marion Cotillard was one of the night's standouts in floral Zuhair Murad.

Emily Blunt flaunted her chic blonde locks and enviable figure in a Miu Miu dress with Prada shoes.

Eva Longoria always looks fabulous, but the paneling on her Monique Lhuillier dress looked awkward.

Octavia Spencer was captivating in a Tadashi Shoji with a Judith Leiber clutch.

Leslie Mann's Honor dress, which she paired with Jimmy Choo heels, was slightly more casual than her usual awards show garb, but she still pulled it off effortlessly.

Sally Field looked radiant at 66 in orange.

Amanda Seyfried looked fresh and fabulous in a Marios Schwab dress, Roger Vivier shoes, and Lorraine Schwartz earrings.

Helen Hunt looked beautiful in a skintight Philip Armstrong dress.

Amy Adams looked simple and elegant in a Vionnet gown with Jimmy Choo heels.

Elle Fanning is always fashion forward, but her head-to-toe Chanel look was a little off for the awards show. The combination of the shoes and the dress just didn't hit the mark.

Awards season continues to heat up, with last night’s Critics’ Choice Awards bringing out a slew of A-listers in their red carpet best. Stars like Jennifer Lawrence and Anne Hathaway completely killed it, while some (usually) impeccably-dressed actresses like Jessica Chastain played it too safe, and fell flat as a result. The glamorous designer gowns and top-notch beauty looks made us even more excited for this Sunday’s Golden Globes, and we can’t wait to see what these ladies turn up in for the big night.
