If you’re one of the lucky few who has been whisked away for a tropical vacation during the holidays than we salute you — because you get to test out your summer outfits early. While your hair is getting lighter and your skin is getting tanner you probably don’t have much time to worry about what you’re going to wear on New Year’s Eve. So we thought we’d do all the thinking for you.

Since you’re most likely going to be sipping margaritas on the beach and dancing in the sand, the last thing you want is a dress that’s going to weigh you down (read: slow down your drinking) — so go for something light and flowy, something that makes your drunken twirls spectacular. As for shoes, you’re going to need a killer pair of sandals. Heels and sand do NOT mix — it’s the equivalent to cobblestone streets. As for the midnight chill, if you can’t find a man to warm you up a chiffon scarf will do nicely. Last but not least, don’t forget to add some flavor with your accessories and have fun with it!

So click on through our slideshow for some great outfit inspirations. Make sure to take some awesome outfit pics to make us and your friends jealous!
