  • 'Side Effects' Premiere - 63rd Berlinale International Film Festival

Rooney Mara wore Spring 2013 Valentino to the premiere of "Side Effects." Although she isn't a stranger to wearing black these days, she still looked fabulous.

  • Elle Style Awards - Red Carpet Arrivals

Kate Hudson wore a stunning strapless Stella McCartney gown to the ELLE Style Awards. The bustier dress was adorned in lace panelling. She later presented the designer with the event's best International Designer Award.

  • Topshop Topman LA Opening Party At Cecconi's - Arrivals

Liberty Ross took a big fashion risk this week, wearing a green Anthony Vaccarello dress from the designer's Fall 2012 collection. We commend her boldness with this choice, especially considering her very-public romantic woes. She paired her mini-dress with gladiator heels.

  • "Safe Haven" New York Screening - Inside Arrivals

Julianne Hough wore an interesting pants and dress combination by George Hobeika, and silver metallic Giuseppe Zanotti heels. We're aren't necessarily crazy about this, but since it was such a trend at New York Fashion Week, we can't argue.

  • Topshop Topman LA Opening Party At Cecconi's - Arrivals

Kate Bosworth attended the Topshop Topman Los Angeles Opening Party wearing a cut-out dress by the designer. Her accessories were kept simple: she chose a black clutch and matching patent pumps.

  • 'Haensel und Gretel: Hexenjaeger' Germany Premiere

Famke Janssen wore a ravishing pre-Fall 2012 Naeem Khan gown the German premiere of "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters." The dress was detailed with feathers and sequins, and looked absolutely glamorous on her.

  • 'The Croods' Photocall - 63rd Berlinale International Film Festival

  • "Beyonce: Life Is But A Dream" New York Premiere - Arrivals

Solange Knowles, where are your pants? The star arrived to her sister Beyonce's documentary premiere, "Life Is But A Dream" in nothing but a white jacket and skirt (we think there are some shorts under there, but we really can't tell).

There have been so many fashion-related events this week (with New York Fashion Week and all) that it’s been quite a feat to narrow down which celebrities were the best dressed. Michelle Williams and Kate Hudson looked fabulous as always at movie premieres, while budding style-setters like Rooney Mara and Julianne Hough (yes, really!) didn’t disappoint.

As usual, we’ve rounded up our nine favorite looks of the week—and included a faux pas for good measure.

Click through the gallery above for a recap of this week’s highlights in celebrity fashion.
