Bookperk, HarperCollins Publishers‘ website, has launched an initiative to bring readers bestselling books alongside “exclusive merchandise and interactive author experiences.” The current deal includes The Coco Chanel biography entitled Coco Chanel: The Legend and the Life by Justine Picardie and a tote bag with a sketched image of Coco Chanel done by Karl Lagerfeld.
Picardie formerly worked at British Vogue, where she was the features director, andwas the editor of Observer magazine. She is currently a fashion columnist for theSunday Telegraph and pens pieces for several other publications including Harper’s Bazaar and Times of London.
