I'm in the middle of reading Age of Innocence and these understated elegant dresses are very Countess Ellen Olenska.

Designer Tess Giberson layered up her looks with really interesting shapes and textures. I love all the Mongolian lamb vests she included in her collection.

1PM - Backstage at Rebecca Taylor at Lincoln Center. Another StyleCaster favorite model Simona!

Even though I'm not particularly feminine, I always love Rebecca Taylor's take on classically feminine and soft pieces. She introduced knits this season which looked extremely supple!

3PM - Backstage at Doo.Ri at Eyebeam Studios. When I came in, the models were being laced up into their thigh high lace up boots. Each girl had two dressers at her feet.

Backstage, the models' personal coats competed with Doo-Ri Chung's runway coats for attention. As they came downt the runway, I loved the dramatic collars of the Doo.Ri coats.

6PM - After getting my act together at the office, I went back to the west side to go backstage at Sally LaPointe.
