9AM - Backstage at Tess Giberson at Lincoln Center.
The Tess Giberson team was simultaneously shooting their look book while getting the models ready for the presentation.
Bumped into StyleCaster's latest favorite model Flaviana again!
9:30 AM - Ruffian show at Lincoln Center.
Ruffian designers Brian Wolk and Claude Morais created menswear pieces in unexpected fabrics such as black patent.
I'm in the middle of reading Age of Innocence and these understated elegant dresses are very Countess Ellen Olenska.
10AM - Tess Giberson presentation.
Designer Tess Giberson layered up her looks with really interesting shapes and textures. I love all the Mongolian lamb vests she included in her collection.
Noon - After a quick drop by the office, I turned around and went back up to Lincoln Center for Farah Angsana's runway show.
1PM - Backstage at Rebecca Taylor at Lincoln Center. Another StyleCaster favorite model Simona!
Sunglasses provided by Thierry Lasry.
2:30PM - Rebecca Taylor runway show.
Even though I'm not particularly feminine, I always love Rebecca Taylor's take on classically feminine and soft pieces. She introduced knits this season which looked extremely supple!
3PM - Backstage at Doo.Ri at Eyebeam Studios. When I came in, the models were being laced up into their thigh high lace up boots. Each girl had two dressers at her feet.
Backstage, the models' personal coats competed with Doo-Ri Chung's runway coats for attention. As they came downt the runway, I loved the dramatic collars of the Doo.Ri coats.
6PM - After getting my act together at the office, I went back to the west side to go backstage at Sally LaPointe.
7:30PM - The set up for the Sally LaPointe runway show was really interesting. I felt like I was waiting for a theatrical performance to start.
This dress was absolutely wild!
