The ground floor café of the new 10 Corso Como outpost in Seoul was the hotspot tonight when legendary French sportswear brand Lacoste teamed up with Visionaire magazine to host a lively dance party.
The occasion was—besides gathering a smattering of famous and fashionable— to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the brand that made pique polos famous, as well as to launch Visionaire 54 Sport, a “wearable publication” that melds artwork by current image makers with fully-covered, full-color, photographically-printed Lacoste polo shirts.
Featured artists, photographers, and musicians include Nick Knight, Peter Lindbergh, Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, Phil Poynter, Thomas Ruff, Karl Lagerfeld, Pedro Almodóvar, David Byrne, Michael Stipe, and Richard Phillips.
Cecilia Dean of Visionaire was on hand to greet guests like Korean pop icon Sheean, and dance the night away while a bouffant-ed bottle blonde drag queen DJayed to a crowd of Seoul’s hipsters.
