While there a many shows that could be considered must-see, we’re pretty sure Victoria Beckham kicks them all the curb. While she may have as of late encountered other similar celebrity competitors (ahem, Holmes & Yang, we’re looking at you), her collection remains one of the more successful celebrity fashion lines around, behind only The Row from Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
V.Beck’s collection featured the kind of modern minimalism that might even make Calvin Klein blush. While the colors were few, the restrained palette allowed the vibrant red to nearly jump off the runway. Clearly meant for a fellow jetsetter, options ranged from mid-length skirts and breezy blouses to mini-dresses.
In true form – literally – body hugging dresses á la Beckham were made contemporary by zip details in the back offering an adjustable slit. Gladiator sandals adjoined with calf-high spats initially felt off kilter with the high-brow collection, however contributed to the consistency and world-traveler aspect of the collection.
