Here at StyleCaster, we are obsessed with personalization. So I felt right at home when I visited the Profound Beauty site and had my entire hair routine customized. After answering just five questions, they were able to suggest the 90/10 shampoo, 5/95 conditioner, Anti-Oxidant Mask, and In-Salon Treatment. I could have gone ahead and answered the additional five questions for après-shampoo products, but I swear even hairspray makes my hair limp (and to be honest, I’m not exactly known for my patience).
I took my just-for-me products home and was blown away. It reminded of a certain article I once read in Vogue which stated that in order to look amazing, you should have every single piece of clothing you buy taken to the tailor. I don’t know if I agree with that statement, but I now prescribe to that same philosophy for hair. My hair felt cleaner and more hydrated than ever before–and it made me feel like one of those exceedingly sophisticated people (i.e., Voguettes) that I’ve always dreamed of being.
