Look, we get it, sometimes you’re just not in the mood to wear a pretty little dress or rock a heel – that’s for sure. When deliberating our options, there’s a lot to consider. Between looking put together, fashion forward and not like a slob there really aren’t too many options when it comes to non-dressy choices.

Clearly we want to be taken seriously in the office, but what about when the work day is over? How do we go to drinks with the girls at that cool new cocktail bar – it just seems like our beloved ripped denim isn’t totally the right decision (as much as we try to make it work, we always feel a little funny when we’re obviously underdressed). We decided to look to some of our current style icons to see what their solutions are.

With all of their demands between red carpets and events out the a**, we spotted a fun trend of these ladies dressing in their renditions of a mens’ tuxedo or suit. With classic blazers reinterpreted to slimmer silhouettes, we can still let our shapes sing while pants are free game depending on your mood (and choice of footwear).
