We’ve been surprised how many designers have opted to feature pants prominently in their spring collections. When it comes to pants, there’s a new shape in town that is taking over – big time.

Forget baggy jeans or your typical skinnies, we’re observing a tailored trouser that’s all kinds of slouchy but clearly made for a woman’s shape, unlike those ultra-masculine pairs. Hugging low on the hips, the thighs are kept baggy (perfect for hiding any troublesome areas!), while in the most successful pairs, the calf and ankle are moderately slim. Often shown in peg leg or cropped styles, all have major potential for all sorts of mixing and matching.

Try sporting a pair with heels to achieve that effortlessly chic look or wear these with flats as you head to yoga. Either way, plan on seeing a lot of these trousers next season!
