If Sunday is officially the day of rest, nobody bothered to tell the fine folks at Coachella. In fact, if anything Day 3 proved to be quite the rager for all the cool kids livin’ it up like it was 1999 (although it looked more like 1989 given the amount of retro trashtastic short-shorts and neon bikini tops in the house). While Paris Hilton made her yearly appearance this weekend (natch), the real excitement was the countdown to Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre closing out Week 1 of the festival.
Of course, while you’re grumpily jamming out to “Gin and Juice” from the comfort of your own cluttered cubicle today, rest easy knowing even something as fun as Coachella has its drawbacks. Between the clouds and sprinkles on Friday and the almost 100 arrests made between Friday and Saturday night, it’s pretty clear who’s starting the week off right (congrats, baby — no mugshots to call your own!).
Anyway, enjoy these crowd snaps of Day 3 and try to remember it’s not where you spent your weekend, but how you spent it (as in not waiting in line for a dirty porta-john and desperately searching for that ahhh-mazing grilled cheese sandwich vendor everybody keeps raving about).
