Contrary to the seemingly popular belief, Coachella isn’t just a festival to show off your flower crown and fringe accessories — it is, after all, a music festival. And this year, in addition the major headliners, there were plenty of independent and up-and-coming acts that you should definitely be paying attention to. That being said, we’ve compiled the best performances of Coachella’s Weekend One, so far from our favorite Instagram accounts. These are the musicians you won’t want to miss.

 

As if Run the Jewels’ set wasn’t going to be a good time, Bernie Sanders made an appearance to introduce them, as Killer Mike has been one of his most vocal supporters.
