Why These Sunglasses Are All I Want for Christmas This Year

If there was one overt street-style accessory that every fashion girl and celeb rocked in 2015, it was definitely mirrored sunglasses (namely those ubiquitous Dior So Real sunglasses.) I’m not usually one for mass bandwagon trends, but I’m definitely reconsidering my stance on hopping on the mirrored sunnies fad after trying on a pair of Super by Retrosuperfuture’s Tuttolente frameless Lucia sunglasses in red ($289) on set at one of our shoots recently.

Not only are these sunnies completely frameless, but the arms are made of the same material as the uber-reflective lenses, which means that the specs are not only impossibly cool, but also incredibly lightweight and durable. These shades are also the perfect cat-eye shape, which makes them basically universally flattering (seriously — I have a super round face, which means that practically no glasses compliment my face and these shades gave me instant cheekbones.)

It’s been a week since I tried these sunglasses on and I’m still jonesing on them hard, which means they’ll probably end up in my possession in the very near future — but hey, it’s the holidays, right? Treat. Yo. Self.
