Straight Westcoastin’

Nothing makes me feel less cool than going home to Los Angeles to discover that there is a yet another growing sect of cool kids that I can’t identify with. That is exactly what happened to me this weekend when I popped into my old neighborhood for a few days to catch up with friends and family. I dropped into an event held by fashion-friend, Taz Arnold of Sa-Ra on Thursday night. The scene was very LA street – in a throwback to the 80s/90s kind of way. Taz is a HUGE fan of StyleCaster. He might actually love it more than my own mom. Naturally, I like to be supportive of our friends and the early adopters of SC, so I had to stop by to say hello. I discovered that Taz is leading a very new movement and they are all swearing by the same shopping destination: & Still.

& Still stocks its boutique to the brim in vintage 80′s/90′s finds. You can re-discover anything from T&C Surf vintage tees, original Starter jackets in mint condition to those Cross Colours you wished would never come back. If you’re feeling this whole throwback movement, this is probably going to be your best resource. The word is that the good stuff is in the stock room. I wonder if that Magic vs. Bird playoff tee that I was obsessed with is going to spring up here soon.
