We love a good Brit party and last night’s Serpentine Gallery event in London was one of those social gatherings that brings in a who’s who from every walk of life. The Serpentine Gallery’s annual summer cocktail, held on the summer architectural pavilion was attended by the top of the international social set including Bianca Jagger, Jonathan Saunders, Pharrell Williams, Dasha Zhukova, Jacquetta Wheeler, Hussein Chalayan, Sir Phillip Green, Mario Testino, Kanye West and Olivia Palermo.
Bianca Jagger, looked like her Studio 54 self in a crisp white suit, accompanied by daughter Jade Jagger. While Thandie Newton posed arm in arm with Matthew Williamson in one of his jaw droppingly bright designs.
One might think that such a star studded event would be cause for stuffy snobbery but not at the Serpentine Gallery. Hussein Chalayan noted to WWD “London can be quite cliquey, but this party brings everyone together.” We love the Brit’s capacity to throw a pleasant and warm gathering.
