It’s kind of a fashion fairy tale, if it weren’t that the protagonist looks decidedly more beast than beauty (although admittedly, if you look at just his features, he’s pretty hot). Rick Genest with his tatted up face, artfully done to look like a skeleton, was discovered on Facebook and became the face of Thierry Mugler, under Creative Director Nicola Formichetti and his right hand lady, literally, Lady Gaga.
It might seem that a face like that has one trick pony written all over it, but Zombie Boy seems to be booking other work, namely, the “Yes We Care” Editorial in Fashion Magazine Poland’s Summer 2011 issue, shot by Zuza Krajewska & Bartek Wieczorek. Genest appears alongside Jac, Maddie and Emilia Nawarecka. In it, a model kisses him gingerly on the head, and it’s actually quite sweet.
