School’s out for summer – almost! Even though it’s been a minute since we’ve had that elated feeling of joy once the last exam is completed and our lockers are fully cleaned out, we can’t help but still have a growing sensation of utter and complete giddiness once this time of year comes about.

Call us nostalgic or just plain tired of being cooped up, but there’s nothing like that first day at the beach or pulling our beloved jean shorts out of storage. Just because we may not be graduating this year or planning a summer full of relaxation and vacation (sigh) doesn’t mean we can’t dress like it.

And if you do happen to be breaking loose for the summer, you certainly don’t want to be bogged down by insanely heavy luggage. We decided to break down some of our must-haves for the new season and embrace our less serious side with some easy pieces that will keep you enjoying the sunshine and less worried about stains.

Click through the slideshow to see some steals you should probably snag now – we all know how quickly spring and summer slip away! Be sure to share your own favorite items on your profile page, all you have to do is register as a user!
