With New York Fashion Week creeping closer and closer, we’re reminded of some of the biggest hits from last season. There was plenty to consider between mashed-up prints, serious embellishments, and numerous retro references. One look that particularly caught our eye is the minimal look from Preen.

While we’re still confronting our fear of mixing navy and black (thanks mom), Preen proved that not only is this style totally cool, it’s easy to execute by incorporating simple, basic closet staples. Here, we’ve compiled items that are both affordable and in line with this killer runway look, so you can score this style for yourself without going bankrupt.
