In a move that I’m kinda super excited about, the FDA just approved the use of Latisse as an eyelash-thickening drug. Right now, it’s available only by prescription, but apparently the powers-that-be behind the formula are trying to make it available over the counter asap. The active ingredient in it is the same as the one used for treating glaucoma and the formula is to be applied directly to the lash line, much like liquid eyeliner, I would imagine.
Sounds nuts, I know, but as someone cursed for a lifetime with wimpy, barely there lashes, you can bet I’m going to give it a whirl. I’m choosing to think of it simply as Rogaine for girls!
What do you think of this new development in beauty science? Willing to try it? Or is it just too weird?
