Reem Acra’s Spring 2013 collection boasted a full selection of pieces to outfit the uptown-meets-downtown sophisticate from day to night.
The collection kicked off with its edgier looks. Laser cut leather tops, bottoms, jackets, and dresses stood out as perfect modern pieces to upgrade our wardrobes come Spring. Work-appropriate classics got an upgrade as well with silk, prints, bold belts, and dark sequins.
For evening, sequins and sheer cutouts ruled the runway (and made us dream of future red carpet appearances!). Stunning sparkle-trimmed numbers dazzled in red, navy, gold and cream. Ombré also made an appearance in a refreshingly fun fade from fuchsia to champagne.
In true Reem Acra form, beautiful ball gowns closed the show. A navy full-skirt gown was draped with black tulle and adorned with black and white paillettes, while a dreamy, pastel pink and yellow gown was laced with shimmer.
