Grab your closest hot rod, ladies: Rag & Bone declares with their latest collection that the neo-greaser (would-be chic Nascar enthusiast, if that was a thing) is here. Tapping both classic 1950s references from roller skirts to varsity jackets, the design team composed of David Neville and Marcus Wainwright played with modernizing the retro girly figure and putting her in the driver’s seat for good.
Neville and Wainwright’s dame seems headed to the desert for an update on fall’s explorers trend. Hoods and zip-away parachute dresses offered a welcome contrast to some of the ultra-bright reworked racing jackets and pants – though these were reinterpreted to take shape of a boyfriend trouser for the latter.
Read on to have a look-see through the collection.
What do you think? Will you dress like a chic race car enthusiast come spring?
