While I am having a blast here in Las Vegas, I was honestly a little bummed that I would be missing out on the second half of the Fall 2011 runway shows. Little did I know that PROJECT would be bringing a bit of New York City to us! Last night at 5:00, they live-streamed the Betsey Johnson fashion show, which featured her world-famous eponymous collection, immediately followed by her brand new, more accessible line, modeled by her friends and employeesboth boys and girls!
Pink Patch just debuted yesterday at Fashion Week, and launched officially in market with its own booth at PROJECT. The new offering from Betsey Johnson is perfect for anyone who loves the designer’s creations, but wishes to shop at a more popular price point. All of the eveningwearcosts under $200, and daywear is $100 and below.
Pink Patch features a plethora of fun shapes, including oversized sweaters, a revival of vintage fit-and-flare dresses, cropped tees and classic babydoll dresses. Just because this collection is more affordable than Black Tag, it isn’t any less authenticBetsey has a hand in designing every piece for Pink Patch.
I stopped by the brand’s booth and can attest that any Betsey lover on a conservative budget has reason to jump for joy and do a cartwheel or two-just like the designer did during her finale walk at yesterday’s show.
