The backstage atmosphere is cool, calm, and collect. It was so calm that it was slightly eerie. Has fashion week really started? The hair and make up was set up on the 9th floor with gorgeous natural sunlight and a beautiful view of the Hudson. Rachel Roy is stunning and really, really tall! As we wait for our turn for Carol to start her video interview, I scan the room and snap pics of the models, inspiration board, and the table of chunky costume jewelry. The HL pr girls are so helpful and impossible to miss. They are all dressed in the industry standard: black from head to toe in sky-high shoes. They are an army of gorgeousness… Thanks girls! You were so helpful and sweet! We loved working with you!!! The collection was confident. The colors ranged from muted and nude to bold and jewels. I loved this silk romper and am almost positive you will see Carol Han in it come next Spring. Here’s a snap but I will share more backstage photos with you soon.
