Miuccia Prada once again rebelled against conformity with her Spring 2013 collection, combining shaken-up Japanese influences with literal floral imagery, in stiffly folded and layered garments.

Veering away from her previously colorful collections which incorporated busy prints, trim suits and extreme tailoring, Prada displayed garments almost in spite of the body, focusing perhaps more on her message on dismissing the past.

What really has the fashion lot up in arms – or feet, rather – is the geisha-inspired footwear and leather socks bound with bows. Strong-framed glasses festooned with pop-art daisies (a common theme throughout) were also of note.
