Penelope Cruz: Broken Embraces

Penelope Cruz made a grand entrance in lavender at the premiere of her new film “Broken Embraces” in Cannes earlier today. Accompanying the film’s director Pedro Almodavar, the man who jump-started Penelope’s career, the Vicky Cristina Barcelona star glowed in a chiffon Marchesa dress that is one of the best red carpet showings we’ve seen at Cannes so far. We love how Penelope always shines with glamour and that certain je ne sais quoi (hey sorry it’s Cannes we are feeling French) that screams movie star. And apparently we are not the only ones, the UK’s Telegraph describes Penelope’s performance in Broken Embraces as: “You think Audrey Hepburn, you think Leslie Caron, but mostly you think: movie star.”
