Holy chicness. Where the hell has Sharon Stone been? Apparently, preparing for the Dior show...

Allegra Versace and Donatella Versace. Fashion royalty, honey.

While he may not be designing the line, Marc Jacobs is always supportive of fellow A-list designers.

The stunning Marion Cotillard

Just a random magazine editor who is rarely caught smiling.

Princess Charlene of Monaco in what probably doubles as her gym outfit.

The man behind Lanvin, Alber Elbaz looks like a dapper gent.

The International Queen of Street Style, Miss Anna Dello Russo.

Mr. Marchesa Harvey Weinstein and actress Melanie Laurent

Natalia Vodianova and Antoine Arnault looking too cool for school.

Remember a time not so long ago when every day, fashion bloggers took to the Internet to discuss another rumor about who would be taking over designer John Galliano‘s post at legendary fashion house Christian Dior? Remember when we were all absolutely positive that it was going to be Marc Jacobs? Boy, were we wrong …

Raf Simons joined Dior after a stellar career at Jil Sander, and everyone waited with bated breath to see what he would come up with. Today in Paris, our answer finally came. Raf’s first show was quite a success: The Twitterverse went crazy as elegant gowns sauntered down a runway surrounded with more than a million flowers. While the designer’s trademark minimalism had a lot of people skeptical he would be able to take on such a big label, he did so masterfully.

And it’s a good thing — because there were a lot of people there who would have been pissed if he hadn’t succeeded. The A-list crowd was absolutely unreal, from fellow designers to fashion royalty to some of Hollywood’s most storied names. Click through the gallery above for a peek at who came out to support Simons as he took the helm of the iconic label.
