Okay, people — Halloween is on the horizon. For some of you, it’s the most exciting holiday of the year, where you can be free to dress however you like and not be judged (read: wear as little clothing as possible). For others, Halloween is a complete nightmare.
Every year, TV shows, movies and celebrity news dictate the costume trends, and this Halloween surely will be no exception. From national treasure Honey Boo Boo, to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, we’re willing to bet this will be a celeb-heavy All Hallows’ Eve.
In honor of the fast-approaching holiday, we put together 15 sure-to-be big costumes this year, and included handy tips on how you can get the look for each one.
Click through the slideshow and let us know — who are you going as this Halloween?
For a redneck-fabulous costume, why not emulate Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson. A little go-go juice won't hurt, either. No Honey Boo Boo outfit would be complete without a value-size bucket of cheese puffs, some dirt on your shirt, and some adorable belly fat grabbing. How much do you want to bet that this will be one of the most popular costumes of the year?
For all the men out there (or ballsy ladies), Psy's signature suits and brogues are a timely choice. Prerequisite: You must know that dance by heart, and be prepared to perform on cue. It may help to improve your Korean skills, your mouth-open facial expressions, and scout out some backup dancers that already know the moves. You better step up your game for this one, because this is truly the year of "Gangnam Style" and there will be plenty of Psy impostors.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are among this year's most buzzed-about couples. To look like them, adhere to the following steps. For Kim Kardashian, pick out a pair of sky-high heels, get some hair and eyelash extensions, something leather, and something daringly provocative. (Actually, come to think of it, ditch the lashes — Kim stated that she "no longer wears them"). For all of you aspiring Kanyes out there, stick to a good pair of kicks, some baggy leather pants and a serious statement piece — we're favoring a necklace or some type of fur.

Lady Gaga is known to push fashion to its limits, and given that she has a bizarrely loyal slew of fans, tons of people will be lining the streets as Mother Monster. And it's easy — you don't even need to show your face for this one. Simply buy some pink sheets, put them over your head and slap on some hooker heels. Or, you know, you could always wear some Saint Laurent that's barely left the Paris runway.

Whether you're a Belieber or not, Justin Bieber is a safe, easy and popular choice: Everyone will know what you're trying to be (whether you're a girl or a boy). Old-school side-swept bangs will go over fine, or update the look with some some flannel and a leather jacket. Don't forget the kicks, either. He prefers Supras.

Wes Anderson's "Moonrise Kingdom" wouldn't have been the same without Sam wearing his beaver hat and camp scout uniform. Dig up your old Boy Scout or Girl Scout uniforms and slap a geeky pair of glasses on and it's an instant costume. You will be the hippest cat in the room, guaranteed.
Katy Perry is a classic choice, and we have no doubt that we'll see quite a few costumes inspired by the starlet. Take cues from Harajuku girls and use every color in the coloring box, add some sparkle and some crazy accessories, and you're set!

Fashion fanatics are sure to follow one of the industry's foremost trend setters, Anna Dello Russo. Simply choose something wildly fashion-forward, slap on some heels, and top it off with a crazy fascinator, or you can pick up some goodies from her H&M collection. Sure, your ADR may not be understood in rural Minnesota, but our guess is plenty of urbanites will be rocking this look.

Everyone that has a dog is destined to do one thing this year — dress their pooch up, "Frankenweenie"-style. Tim Burton's film hits theaters this month, so it's only appropriate to dress your pup in bolts and stitches..
Master your British Accent, put some lace on, stick your nose up a little and you'll emulate the "Downton Abbey" crew just fine. If you don't have a sumptuous gown lying around (although who doesn't?), accessorize the hell out of any dress and pair it with a fabulous hat. Come to think of it ... Anna Dello Russo and "Downton Abbey" aren't so different.
If you're in a matchy-matchy couple mood, take a cue from Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux and plan your outfits accordingly. Break out the leather jackets, boyfriend jeans and strong eyebrows and go to town. Extra points if your hairstyles match, too, à la Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman.

High-powered hip-hop couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé are basically an institution at this point. To look just like them, step up your class level, be prepared to dress très fancy, and warm your vocal cords up for the obligatory song demands. Extra credit if you have a cute baby in tow. We hope we see plenty of couples with mini-Blue Ivys this year.
