giphy1 Michelle Obama, Historys Coolest First Lady, Releases Epic Rap Video

Not that we don’t respect former first ladies, but it’s pretty hard imagine, say, a Laura Bush type breaking it down to “Uptown Funk” or creating a Vine showing her turning down for what. And, now, the epically modern FLOTUS has pretty much outdone her past hip-hop endeavors with a new rap video created by CollegeHumor with Saturday Night Live cast member (and expert President Obama impersonator) Jay Pharoah.

The clip—called “Go to College”—is exactly what it sounds like: A rap song that supports Michelle’s education initiative. The video starts out with Pharoah trying to sell some wishy-washy teens on the benefits of a university degree, before the First Lady comes out hot during the second verse.

“Southside Chicago, we all know, we had to do overtime every night to make it tomorrow,” she raps. “And everyone could really make their dream true. Hey, kid listenin’ in Michigan, that could be you!”

While she might not be rivaling Nicki Minaj anytime soon, Michelle did a pretty sick job, even if she did break the cardinal rule of hip-hop and resorted to rhyming college with knowledge.
