If there’s one thing that makes us marvel, it’s the fact that Marc Jacobs is able to produce not one, not two, but three entirely differently collections every single season for Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Louis Vuitton. While Jacobs drew on the ’60s for his main line, he approached the spring collection for Marc by Marc Jacobs with a more ’80s spin.

Leggings and oversize button-downs — worn with socks tucked into platforms — paraded down the runway. We especially loved the used of tartan and scarfs tied around the waist to provide a more graphic element to the collection. The all-over printed suits and knee-grazing sundresses with peplum details are sure to be editor favorites for the coming season — though, to be fair, it’s been quite a while since Jacobs has made a misstep.

Ask anyone about my closets, and they will tell you i love shoes and clothes, every now and then i go in with a couple of trash bags fill them up and donate them and strart with new key pieces, in saying that. while i’m not stuck on any fashion, actually i’m rebellious to it and prefer my own sense of style, however, there are some fashions that should truly stay on the fabric bolts, this collection is one of them, there’s but so much one can do with a bunch of rags but keep them as such!

I was speaking in referance to the spring 2013 Marc Jacobs line. it looks like there’s about to be a remake of the chimney sweep portion of Mary Poppins!
