“There was a photo of me with weird sunglasses on and a green sweatshirt, some striped thing, with tights and cowboy boots. Something really random where in some sense it’s me. To this day, I have never read the article. I just saw the photo and thought, ‘God, I look crazy in that photograph!’ “
-Mary-Kate Olsen, in an interview with Bergdorf Goodman Magazine.
We’ll agree with you on this one, MK. You do look crazy. But let’s get something straight. If you’re pointing this one outfit out as “crazy,” does this imply that you consider everything else you wear to be normal? Because then we’re gonna have to disagree. Last time we checked, looking like you haven’t showered in days and wearing scarves/sweaters that double as a blanket isn’t exactly normal. And hats with horns? Not quite the actor-turned-designer fashionista look we’re trying to emulate. If you’re reading this MK, you may want to scroll down and take a look at these other sartorial concoctions that you might call “normal,” and reconsider your statement.
And p.s. we still love you!

I do wonder how Mary-Kate, who can be so lovely in her photo shoots, can let herself ‘go’ when she is out to be seen. Is she so insecure about herself that she hides behind those ‘things’ she wears. Tomboy, ok, but what she wears is more like the b. l. she has been called in the past. Come on M.K., dress a little more classy than the pictures shown above here. You can do it!!
