Let Them Eat (Fashion) Cake

Abigail Lorick, perhaps best known as the ghost designer for Eleanor Waldorf’s clothing line in Gossip Girl, held a whimsical presentation today displayed in an awe-inspiring set. An entire floor was used for seven different themes, including “After the Storm,” “Bedroom Disaster,” “A Room of One’s Own,” and my personal favorite, “Cake Coma.” During fashion week, after a certain amount of sleep lost and glasses of champers consumed, everything tends to start running together and looking the same. Therefore, it’s refreshing, to say the least, to witness a presentation with so much thought, creativity, and effort behind it.

There’s no mistaking the Lorick showing for another stark white runway, that’s for sure.

Also, the clothes were pretty cute, too.
