In the last few days, I’ve noticed that Carol Han and I have been playing a competitive chess game with our choice of leggings. I think it all started when she looked me up-and-down (before saying “good morning” I should add) the day I wore the coveted Kova & T Oxy leggings with a ratty, torn and hole-y tank top. Something in the way she examined the finish told me that this Queen was reviewing the board and preparing to make a calculated move. In no time, C. Han was sashaying by my desk in a pair of killer liquid leggings. Am I just a pawn in her game? I decided I needed to step it up. Yesterday, I swaggered into The Lab (which I affectionately call the Content studio) in a nylon, high-waisted pair with zippers down the side from American Apparel. Today, C. Han is wearing a shiny onyx pair so skin tight, they look like they are painted on. Check? I’m getting nervous but I just found these Norma Kamali stirrups with a dull leather finish that are sure to keep me in the game.

Checkmate. Your move, C. Han.
