The 35-year-old shared the news on her website this morning, writing “Mother and son are doing well.”
Baby Kimye made his debut earlier than originally expected (around Christmas), which Kim alluded to back in July after a visit to her doctor.
“Went to the Dr today for a check up, guess I was off on my 20 week mark by a week or two,” Kardashian tweeted. “But not the 20 lbs LOL.”

Over the past month there’s also been some speculation that the reality TV star would be induced early, following medical complications—and Kim’s actually experienced a pretty rough pregnancy. She publicly shared some of the challenges with her millions of followers: “I’m gonna keep it real: For me, pregnancy is the worst experience of my life!” she wrote in a post on her personal website, titled “From the Desk Of: How I Really Feel About Being Pregnant.”
She added: “Maybe it’s the swelling, the backaches, or just the complete mindfuck of how your body expands and nothing fits.”
Kim later explained that she’s at a high risk for both preeclampsia and placenta accreta, which understandably caused her to feel anxious throughout the pregnancy. “There’s not a whole lot I can do to prevent it, so my anxiety is a little high leading up to my delivery,” Kim wrote in another post. “In a very rare case, I might need a hysterectomy after delivery if my condition is severe enough, but luckily my doctor doesn’t think this will happen. So as time goes on, I am stressing out less and trying to go with the flow.”
No word yet on what they named their son, but stay tuned for more updates!
