If you watched this year’s Super Bowl halftime show, or generally follow fashion, you’re probably aware of the close relationship Katy Perry and Jeremy Scott have. The designer created each of the pop star’s numerous costume changes for the big show, and Katy’s regularly seen in his Moschino designs, where’s Scott’s the creative director.
So, it comes as a surprise to approximately no one that Katy’s now fronting the latest Moschino ad—which she proudly took to Instagram to announce, writing “THE FACE OF MOSCHINO” accompanied by heart emojis.
We’re digging the whole chains-and-denim look, and the finished campaign is the result of a pretty impressive team of fashion heavyweights including photographers Inez and Vinoodh and stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele.
In true Jeremy Scott style, the image definitely follows the “more is more” mentality—heaps of jewelry, gold leather, Kris Jenner-esque pixie cut—but fits the brand and the star to a T.
