Kate Middleton is the kind of bride who makes you cry she looks so stunning in Alexander McQueen, designed by Sarah Burton. Her sister and Maid of Honor Philippa Middleton also wore McQueen.
With a fitted lace bodice, full skirt and lengthy, lengthy train (app. 6.5 feet), she looks classic, but still modern and just really, really lovely. It’s so Grace Kelly! With diamond drop earrings by Robinson Pelham which were a gift from her parents, and Cartier tiara on loan from the Queen (who received it as a gift from her parents on her 18th birthday!), she’s also accessorized just as she should be. There’s nothing to say but swoon it’s perfect.
For more info on the gown, Kate was said to have worked closely with Sarah Burton on the design of the handmade creation, which NBC explains in detail: “individual flowers have been hand-cut from lace and hand-engineered onto ivory silk tulle to create a unique and organic design, which incorporates the rose, thistle, daffodil and shamrock.”
It’s certainly a good week for the McQueen label, with the Met Gala in his honor happening Monday. Glamour and genius all around.

The upper part of the dress is ok, but the lower part looks like a mussy sheet. Maybe she slept in it prior to the ceremony.
If one were to comment on all of the royal brides, I would call Kate Middleton the most stunning, top to toe.

As a Family Member of the Royals, I know when the Public pays for you’re Wedding you alway serve the Public. I practice this everyday in the USA, even though sometime I am am Damed if I do and Damed if I don’t. But that’s life, it what’s you make of it. It really should be for the better of everyone!!!!!
Kate’s whole family looks gorgeous, but Kate looks ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!!!!!!
I was disappointed. I wanted the fairytale dress, this was not it. This was one any bride could have worn, I wanted the beads, the sparkle. But her veil was horrible. It flattened her beautiful hair. Sorry, but I was very disappointed.
Absolutely hated the dress! Especially did not like the V neck and ###### bodice and the veil. So disappointed!
