Jenny Packham dazzled for Spring 2013, sending one sparkly look after the other glistening down the runway. The vibe: old-school glam-meets-’60s mod-meets-young Hollywood, as classic evening silhouettes were interspersed with flirty cocktail dresses.
Heavily-beaded and sequined looks were tasteful and refined, featuring high necklines and sheer panels. Checkerboard beading took us to another era, while polka dots and peplum were fit for a princess (or should we say, Duchess?).
Spring’s pared-down color palette continued to trend here: Black, white, and grey ruled the runway, with yellow and orange standing apart as the brightest colors in the bunch.
Closing the show was a gown ready to step straight from the runway to the red carpet, complete with a plunging neckline and cape dripping in crystal embellishments. Take a look at some of the best looks from the collection in our slideshow above.
