Back in January, Channing Tatum and his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, faced off in an episode of “Lip Sync Battle,” and Jenna re-created that OTT, highly sexual dance from the end of “Magic Mike XXL.” Then Beyoncé came out to sing and dance to “Run the World (Girls)” alongside Channing, who was in fact all dressed and made-up like Beyoncé herself, and it was altogether wonderful. Unmissable, even.

So what do you do when you’re part of a frighteningly talented couple who met on the set of a dance movie and both got their starts as backup dancers? You make a TV show, of course, which is exactly what Channing and Jenna have done. NBC has ordered six episodes of their new (as yet untitled) show. There isn’t a ton of info out just yet, but Variety says that it’ll be “a fresh take on the unscripted dance competition genre,” with Jenna serving as a judge and mentor. Channing will also “appear” on the show.

We’re kind of (okay, very) tired of the current reality dance offering, so hopefully the Tatum fam will be able to revive it. If anyone can, it’s probably going to be them.
