What’s glammer than glam? Jean Paul Gaultier couture, of course. Gaultier did his best not only to imitate, but to recreate Old Hollywood glamour. The models were styled to emulate Joan Crawford, Marilyn Monroe, Rita Hayworth, Catherine Deneuve, Greta Garbo in Barbarella, Belle de Jour, African Queen, Anna Karenina, and A Star is Born.
And to top it all off, the guests got free magnums and ice cream bars. Gaultier, always practical if not fantastical.
