Scanning through the pages of magazines, we often stumble across some pieces we’d love to welcome into our closet. Sometimes, we even go as far as actually purchasing said piece, and then don’t know what to do next. Sometimes an item will look awesome in a magazine photo shoot, but doesn’t seem like a realistic option outside the confines of our dressing room.

Right now, we’re loving masculine oxfords; Not only are they flat (wahoo!) and won’t kill our feet as we prance from meetings to cocktails, they’re also an unexpected way to incorporate color or a bit of a sartorial edge to our outfits. That said, these brogues can be a little awkward, too, and finding the perfect balance can be an accomplishment within itself.

Here, we’ve styled this key piece five different ways, creating outfits with five different sensibilities, to show you just how easy it can be to incorporate this must-have into your wardrobe. Which is your favorite? Tell us in the comments below!
