If you were disappointed to miss Kylie Jenner in the audience last night at the American Music Awards, it turns out that she has a very good excuse for skipping them: Her beloved dog Bambi had two puppies. And Norman, one of Jenner’s other dogs, is the father.
“For those asking.. I was planning on going to AMA this year but Bambi went into labor 😩 so I’m here taking care of puppies,” Jenner wrote. We understand it can be a bummer to miss a chance to attend an awards show, but taking care of puppies sounds like a pretty good night to us.
When someone tweeted at Jenner to find out if she knew that Bambi was pregnant, Jenner responded by saying she was aware, but hadn’t been planning to breed her dogs. “It only takes one time people lol,” she wrote. We’re not sure why Bambi isn’t spayed—and what Jenner expected if she has multiple dogs that aren’t neutered or spayed—but perhaps Jenner was secretly hoping they’d procreate, as she’s keeping the puppies and seems pretty thrilled about the whole thing.
Asked if she planned to keep the puppies, Jenner tweeted, “Yes ☺️ they r so cute this has been an amazing experience.”
The new arrivals to the Jenner dog fam are named Fawn and Blue, as she posted on Snapchat. Earlier in the night, she said that she hadn’t decided yet about names because she was “trying to learn their personalities,” but apparently after some investigation, she came to the conclusion that their personalities definitely warrant the names … Fawn and Blue. And then, after again confirming that she planned to keep both pups, Jenner dropped the bomb that Norman is the father.
Norman and Bambi have their own Instagram account, and though Blue and Fawn haven’t appeared on it yet, it’s only a matter of time. Here’s a pic of the moment when the pair first met, in March of last year:
Cutest. We can’t wait to see the family portrait of Norman, Bambi, Fawn, and Blue that is waiting to happen.
