We have a very special section in our closet that is designated for our white pieces that unfortunately undergo retirement every year. As we pass by them most of the time in reaching for jackets, sweaters or booties, we know that with each day we get a little closer to opening that blessed drawer. Well ladies, that day is (almost!) finally here. We love our white outfit items – they leave us feeling not only totally festive for the long weekend holiday (woohoo!) we also love channeling our innocent side after what seems like ages of wearing black and grey.

Although we don’t typically follow most rules – we believe in making our own, and then breaking them accordingly – there is one pretty large rule we find ourselves abiding by whether it’s conscious or otherwise. Having been instilled in us from a young age, we stick to the school of thought that white bottoms (but also footwear and accessories) should really be saved for summer. Perhaps it’s the fact that our mothers were a tad old school or maybe we just like having something to look forward to, whatever it is, we’re itching to throw on our favorite whites and add some new options to our closets while we’re at it.

That’s why we decided to round up our favorite white choices for this summer – click through the slideshow to say what you should be scooping up pronto!
