Ladies and gentlemen, arguably one of the most important models of all time is 38. Yep, that’s right. Kate Moss has officially almost made it to her fourth decade, despite years of highly publicized wild partying and a fast-paced lifestyle that no one else in the world could keep up with.

After being discovered at the age of fourteen, she quickly shot to fame and is now synonymous with the “heroin chic” craze that changed the modeling industry forever. As a trendsetter, she is known for skyrocketing the sales of the iconic Alexander McQueen skull scarf, the Balenciaga motorcycle bag and oddly enough, UGG boots.

Her campaigns have been outrageously successful, and she even received huge acclaim for her work as a designer for Topshop. But really, what do we all know Kate Moss the most for? Her turbulent personal life!

Between her insane, drug-fueled relationship with Libertines frontman Pete Doherty, her cocaine arrest, and a ton of other dramas that have plagued our dear Kate’s life (anyone remember that huge blow-out with then-fiance Johnny Depp at a hotel that resulted in THOUSANDS of dollars in damage?), it’s been a rough but still gorgeous ride.

Please, don’t take this the wrong way! I love Kate and have an unbelievable amount of respect for her, I just think there’s no reason to ignore the obvious. Girl can drink, girl can smoke, and girl can make some crazy ass faces while doing so.Take a look at the gallery above for some pictures of my all-time favorite party girl doing what she does best.

(Happy birthday, Katie! I wish I could be you, and more importantly I’m still depressed I wasn’t at least a ring bearer at your wedding.)
