After much anticipation, Memorial Day Weekend is finally here! For many of us in this country, that means leaving work early and packing up our cars and heading to the beach. For others, it means getting stuck inside all weekend to due a rainy, chilly  forecast. So, what is there to do with a long weekend and no outdoor plans? Luckily, the entertainment world has you more than covered. Below, five suggestions on how you can pass the time if fun in the sun isn’t an option.

1. Binge-watch “Arrested Development”
The moment so many of you have been waiting for since the beloved Fox sitcom went off the air in 2006, the outrageous Bluth family returns in all their glory to Netflix on Sunday, when 15 brand-new episodes will be available at the same time.

2. See Michael Douglas as Liberace in HBO’s ”Behind the Candelabra”
In one of the most hotly anticipated TV movies in recent memory, Michael Douglas stars as legendary flamboyant performer Liberace, and Matt Damon stars as his younger “chauffeur” (read: lover.) It’s safe to say that we’ve never seen either of them in roles like this, and advance reviews have been exeedingly positing, so we can’t wait. It premieres on HBO Saturday at 9 p.m. EST.

3. Listen to Beyoncé voice a queen in “Epic”
Aside from being a singer, a wife, a mother, and a general superstar, Beyoncé is adding something else to her packed resume: Animated film star. Queen Bey will voice Queen Tara (how appropriate) in “Epic,” out in theaters nationwide today. Her supporting cast includes heavy hitters like Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, and Amanda Seyfried. This is the first animated flick we’ve considered seeing in awhile, but with Beyoncé on board, it’s a no-brainer.

4. Lay around and watch a “Veronica Mars” marathon
Much like “Arrested Development,” “Veronica Mars” is a cult TV show that came to an end in 2007. Luckily for fans, a movie version is slated for release sometime in 2014, but until then, you can check out a marathon of the show, starring a young Kristen Bell, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST this Monday on SoapNet. Yes, that’s nine hours. Prepare snacks now.

Guess what, people: It’s Memorial Day weekend, which means one thing: Summer’s here. Fine, summer doesn’t exactly start until June 21, but this weekend marks its unofficial kickoff, which means it’s time to start playing the “what’ll be the song of summer?” game.

While there was no “Call Me Maybe” or “California Girls” this year to make us want to slam our heads against a wall hop in a convertible, hair flying, and drive like we’re reenacting the opening credits of “The Hills,” there were a solid number of songs that emerged this year which are more than viable contenders. To help narrow down the pool, we asked our plugged-in staff to weigh in on the tracks they’ll be blasting this summer, and compiled them all into a handy 20-song playlist for you to rock out to, as well.

The list includes the funky, disco-tinged “Get Lucky,” a buzzy collaboration between Daft Punk and Pharrell, as well as Fergie and Q-Tip‘s modern-day Jazz Age ode “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody,” from “The Great Gatsby” soundtrack.

Ed Sheeran joins Delta Air Lines for a concert celebrating JFK Terminal 4 opening

At first glance, Ed Sheeran may be an unlikely heartthrob. But last night, the 22-year-old Brit performed a rousing set at T4X—Delta’s pop-up lounge in SoHo, which previews the airline’s newly transformed International hub at JFK’s Terminal 4—for press, fans, and hoards of uninvited screaming girls waiting outside to catch a glimpse of the rumpled redhead.

Sheeran’s profile has been rising steadily during the past year thanks to his number one pop-rock single “The A Team,” and his association with boy band One Direction (he’s written some of their songs). And now, his career is gaining even more steam thanks to a gig as the opening act on Taylor Swift‘s Red tour.

Right before he took the stage, we sat down with Sheeran in the tricked-out lounge and chatted about everything from his number one spot on the U.K.’s Worst Dressed Men list, to his thoughts on Swift’s style.

StyleCaster: Last year, you were named GQ‘s “Worst Dressed Male in Britain.” What was that experience like?

Ed Sheeran: I haven’t really ever really tried that hard with the way I’ve dressed, so getting “worst dressed” wasn’t that surprising, but being on a list with a lot of other people—like a cross dresser and a member of Parliament—that was interesting. So yeah, I genuinely don’t really care that much about my appearance, so I wasn’t too fussed. But it did make me start wearing cleaner clothes!

How do you deal with criticism regarding your fashion sense? What’s your advice to others?

I feel very sorry for women who are in the public eye because they can never wear the same thing twice, and that’s all I do. I just change clothes. I wash them and change them. With women, I don’t really know what to say: I’m sorry you all always have to wear new dresses. But don’t worry too much of what people think because fashions go in and out, and as long as you find something that suits you and you’re comfortable people will get used to it!

Are there any female celebrities whose fashion sense you really admire?

I’ve never seen Taylor [Swift] look bad—even on off days when she’s just chilling, she’s so stylish!

You do wear designer occasionally—any favorite labels?

I really like Ralph Lauren—I wear a lot of their hoodies. Element, it’s a skate brand. I like Nike trainers, and Burberry for suits.

How has the Red tour been going? Have there been any crazy backstage moments?

We’ve got about 40 dates left, we’ve done like 26! It’s an experience. I was on Snow Patrol’s tour last year and this is very different. It’s a lot longer and a lot different. And no, it’s pretty professional backstage. People just do their jobs!

Have you splurged on anything since you’ve made it big?

I got a house! That was cool—and some land.

Your first album, “+”, is a major hit. What is the most meaningful song on it?

Having a song like “The A Team” which I wrote when I was 18 and being a worldwide hit is big for me, especially with the subject matter of the song, so definitely that!

It wouldn’t be a Friday if there wasn’t a salacious headline about former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes to wake up to.

Late last night, the 27-year-old former actress (who has purported that she’s been hard at work on fashion line for months now) was arrested in her New York City apartment building after officials called the police after seeing her behaving bizarrely in the lobby, smoking a suspicious looking cigarette and muttering to herself.

According to reports, by the time cops arrived at her building, Bynes had retreated to her 36th floor abode—but gladly let them in. When they spotted a large marijuana-smoking device on the table, they confronted her—and she responded by throwing it out the window.

Bynes was then booked for criminal possession of marijuana, reckless endangerment, as well as felony tampering with evidence. She was taken to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation, and then the police station. Naturally, a frenzy of paparazzi were waiting outside of the station, with a video crew ready to track her every move, as captured by TMZ.com. In the video, Bynes seemed to have tousled her platinum blonde wig—which looks like it was purchased at Ricky’s—to make it over her eyes, and she’s wearing a sweatsuit and a $3,600 Cartier Love bracelet, which never leaves her arm.

This is the latest string in a series of bizarre situations for Bynes, who was arrested for a slew of driving-related incidents last year, and has been making consistent headlines for her increasingly alarming Twitter feed. Similar to fellow fallen starlet Lindsay Lohan, Bynes once showed a great deal of talent and promise—and we hope this arrest will put her on the path to recovery.
