Taylor Swift completely crushed her boring Grammys look in a sexy Elie Saab dress with thigh-high slits and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. The reason for her fabulous ensemble? Our guess would have to be seeing her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles on his home turf.

Alexa Chung looked absolutely adorable as usual in a Valentino playsuit. Considering the chilly London weather, we really must give her props for this look.

Model Jourdan Dunn looked absolutely stunning in a Balmain mini-dress that left little to the imagination.

Rita Ora stepped out in a vintage blush pink backless gown.

Singer Jessie J wore a plunging Versace number paired with sexy Jimmy Choos.

"Skyfall" star Berenice Marlohe wowed in a silver Vivienne Westwood gown.

Lana Del Rey looked somewhat frumpy in a Chanel shirt dress—but you can only look slightly frumpy in Chanel, so it'll pass.

Singer Corinne Bailey Rae wore an ill-fitting dress and skinny belt.

Paloma Faith, one of Britain's most popular singers, wore this exceedingly busy look from Dolce & Gabbana. It may not have been our tastes, but it's totally true to her whacky sense of style.

The adorable boys of One Direction wore a mix of Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Topman, and ASOS.

Justin Timberlake proved that he really has unlimited access to Tom Ford, wearing the designer's suit two days after sitting front row at his London Fashion Week show.

Mitch Winehouse paid tribute to his deceased daughter Amy Winehouse via sweater vest.

While Americans go nuts over the Grammy Awards, the British are the same way about the aptly-named Brit Awards, which honors the nation’s pop music industry.

Naturally, tonight’s awards rolled out an A-list red carpet that features Britain’s top acts and personalities, such as Alexa Chung, Emili Sande, and Paloma Faith, as well as a slew of popular American musicians like Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake.

In the slideshow above, we’ve rounded up some of the Brit Awards’ most memorable looks (note the word “memorable,” as we’d be crazy to label some of these getups “best dressed.”)

Click through the gallery and let us know your thoughts—does the Brit Awards fashion stack up against the Grammys?
