She sort of gets a bad rap for having dated a dude who wears more makeup than Bowie, but Evan Rachel Wood apparently holds a dark beauty captivating enough to spark True Blood creator Alan Ball’s bloodlust.
Wood is set to play the Vampire Queen of Louisiana (quite a title), and can’t wait to try on her new acting fangs with the role Ball granted her after an intense phone conversation.
Could it be her burlesque-perfect curls, or her willowy-pale frame? Or maybe the fact that she basically dresses like the undead every day (save for her new role in Woody Allen’s Whatever Works, where she plays a naive Southern belle).
She is set to be in the last few episodes of Season Two, so be prepared for lots of dark lipstick, perfect curls, and bloodshed.
