As if it weren’t enough that Dree Hemingway has a literary pedigree that is beyond-words-enviable (daughter of Mariel Hemingway, great-granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway), she had to go ahead and grow up to be drop-dead-gorgeous too. Modeling agency Elite has wisely snapped the stunner up to be a part of their Elite+ board, which also houses similarly well-connected girls like Lydia Hearst and Vanessa Traina.
Sometimes I wonder about those models who are (probably) only working because of a family name, but I have a feeling Hemingway will be a wild success. For one, at 5’9″ tall and with perfect measurements and features, the girl truly does look like a model. And secondly, there’s something about her intellectually sound background that makes her that much more interesting to look at. After all, her great-grandfather was famous for being able to convey moods and emotions beautifully through the use of a pen–doesn’t it make sense that his progeny be able to do the same with a camera lens?
